Review:

I write review after watching 35 episodes because the drama was so interesting. The narrative progress was absurd and unpredicted. So if someone see one episode of this TV drama, someone cannot stand do not watch the next episode. I would just like to say that the disgustingness is neither fresh nor catch audience off the guard.

This story has two plots. One is a man and a woman overcome their difference in social standing and they make love. The other is hero rebuild grandfather’s noodle factory – A Hundred Year Legacy -. The noodle factory, 200-year-old tradition, marked deficit every month, but grandfather never gave up that factory. Grandfather had a premonition of his own death, and he looking for his successor. However, no one want operate factory among his descendants. So grandfather plays a hidden card. That is just ten-billion-won ($10 million) worth of asset. Grandfather declares that a family member in a family business can receive a legacy of $10 million. Because of this, his children come and live with him. His eldest son, who would promoted to managing director, leave the company. And the second son, who operate pork hock restaurant, go out of business. And third daughter close her private piano institute. That’s introduction of TV drama.

Despite this program have story like soap opera, that was broadcasted at weekend night. (In that case, mostly program will be aired every early in the evening) However, we know it when we see it. This is home drama, but it is too stimulating to watch with family. Especially, heroine’s former mother-in-law Bang Young-ja(Park Won-suk), who play a villain part, and ex-husband committed crazy acts. They committed violence, abduction, confinement, cheating, threat because they are family. Mother committed crime she just loved her son, and husband committed sin he just loved his wife.

I am ashamed that I recommend this TV drama to someone. This dram’s merit is only one. The merit is that is interesting. I can’t be applauded any of ones beyond that. Meanwhile, Korean TV drama was blamed for some reasons. This drama is so, too. Especially, amnesia and secret of birth are atrocious as trick of drama. The early portion of the drama, heroine Min Chae-won suffered loss of memory, and there are implied that hero Lee Se-yoon have secret of birth. That is ridiculous. Despite disappointed plot line, this is too interesting to eye off on screen. I wonder ‘how much the story to be getting strange?’ or ‘how much heroine longer suffer’, so I just have to keep watching. The drama’s viewer rating has hovered around 30 percent because of this fun. By the way well-made drama as ‘Gu Family Book; 九家의 書’ or ‘The Queen Of Office’ barely recorded audience ratings 10%. It is highly regrettable. I am concerned that such low level drama is growing tremendously, because of high viewer ratings. I wish myth that bad money drives out good is wrong.
